WHAT IS STUMP GRINDING?

Stump grinding is the process of removing a tree stump using a specializeed machine known as a stump grinder. Once a tree has been cut down, the remaining stump can become an eyesore, a tripping hazard, or an obstacle to landscaping and construction. Stump grinding resolves these issues by grinding the tree stump down 6 to 12 inches below ground level, leaving behind a pile of wood chips, which require cleanup.
